A certain guy who I barely know just friended me on Facebook for the fifth time. What is he thinking? Did he forget that he did this four times before? Does he like getting ignored?
why are you so careful with who you accept? the more the better you can feel about yourself. The amount of friends on any social network is directly tied in to one's self worth.
I've gotten countless Lebanese folk and one Native American (braids and all) asking to be my friend. Consider yourself lucky. As a solution, I suggest you send the person a very evil, evil, nasty letter saying you don't want to be their friend.
lol. nice. well i gave up rejecting ppl after explaining again and again that i have a rule against having guy friends on facebook. now everyone is welcome, cuz what the heck.
'cuz what the heck?' it seems crazy, but once you make the right decision...and I'm speaking from experience and e-don't give in. I've accepted friendships from ppl I'd rather not have. Some of them I've unfriended, and I hope they didn't notice yet, but others, I still regret
IDK, Not much, Probably not, Probably.
ReplyDeletebrother you have a stalker.

I met him a few times in real life and we have some mutual friends. so I can't be mean to him.
ReplyDeleteIs that the only reason?
ReplyDeleteto nice man.
ReplyDeleteyou can do what everyone else does - accept it and then unfriend them.
ReplyDeleteSome people never give up..

the right decision has many answers, and not all of them are wrong.
ReplyDeletethanks yossi. For you maybe it is simple. Lucky. But not for everyone.
maybe he's trying to mend fences with you by showing that he really, really, really wants to be your friend.
ReplyDeleteCA: yes. If random Indians and Lebanese started friending me, I'd give it to them.
ReplyDeleteLost: nice to hear from you!
Dovid: he can't mend fences, if we never knew each other in the first place.
so e...you know me and you still keep rejecting my friend requests!???
ReplyDeleteOh gee, that really is a serious shalom bayis situation right there.
ReplyDeletee, he is a certain guy "whom" you barely know! Who learned you English?
ReplyDeleteI feel duly reprimanded.
ReplyDeletethe right decision is not to get facebook.
ReplyDeleteModeh, why, then, Hashem created the Facebook?
ReplyDeletesheviraso zuhi takanaso!
ReplyDeleteYou love using "chassidishe" concepts, don't you? :)
ReplyDeletethat would seem to be the case.
ReplyDeleteE: Thanks. and btw you can just block him so he can't find your profile if you're that determined...
ReplyDeleteI second e.
ReplyDeletelost: I'm not going to block him. Now I want to see how many more times he's gonna do it.
ReplyDeleteSo it goes from nusiance to experiment.
ReplyDeleteWhy can’t everyone just get along?
ReplyDeleteWhy did I just say that? Must be that chollent at Hillel…
ReplyDeleteE: lol have fun..
ReplyDeleteHe just friended me again.
ReplyDeleteWow major blast to the past. I got an email notification that says your blog is still called the highway back to krenitz. Ahh the good old days.
ReplyDeleteThis post is over a year old. Guess that guy is really into you.
